Spring Forward
A clear April sun lit the paths at The Newt in Somerset, where spring had quietly taken hold—blossom on branch, bees low in the lavender, and the air soft with warmth. We moved slowly through the gardens, watching the day unfold in light and colour. With a Nikon 28ti in hand and a roll of Kodak Portra 400 loaded, each frame became a quiet record of the season’s return. The final scans, carefully developed by PPP Lab, hold the stillness and brightness of that afternoon—each image a fragment of time, held gently.
